We were married in 2004 just before we left for our trip around the world with Semester at Sea on the maiden voyage of the M.V. Explorer. Since returning Melanie has finished her degree in History Education and now works in the Study Abroad office at Washington State University. Luke finished his Masters degree in Student Affairs and should be finished with his PhD this May in Higher Education. He currently works as the Assistant Director of New Student Programs at WSU. Along with finishing our degrees and working we also gave birth to our beautiful daughter Abiona Grace after we got back from our trip and we are expecting our second baby girl this March! We are involved with our local church Cornerstone Community Church and love living in Pullman. Sometimes it would be nicer to be closer to a bigger city but we love only having a two-minute commute to work and having our friends so close by. Pullman has been good to us and we are truly blessed.
